As my review says Faith learns that prayer truly does move mountains or in this case stubborn men. Share in your comment about a time that prayer has moved what seemed like a mountain from your perspective.

I will be drawing a name on July 16th for a winner of this book. Be sure and leave me a way to contact you in your comment. If I don’t receive a reply within 48 hours when I contact the winner a new name will be drawn as I will be passing on the info so the book can be sent to the winner and it must be in by the 21st.

  4. Julie: My FHL link has again led me to a new author I’m looking forward to reading. Especially since my husband is a product of an old Irish Catholic family. Thanks. Conni

  6. Conni, I am sooo glad FHL led you here!! And if your are married to an Irish Catholic man, grin, I gotta a sneaky feeling you may just love A Passion Most Pure because there are three wonderful Irish men in this novel. Curious to see which one comes closest to your Irish hubby! 🙂

Keli gwyn, thanks so much for your kind comment — the element of faith is SO incredibly important to me, that I wanted it to be like breathing for the heroine … AND for the reader. Hope you enjoy it.

    Hugs,
    Julie

  10. When I was 17, I met this wonderful guy, and I prayed that God would “give” him to me. Now, I know that it is not biblically correct, but hey, this is what I did. That man and I just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary, and I think this qualifies as a mountain that God moved through prayer!

  11. As I deal with bipolar I seem to be always climbing those mountains. But since my family has started in trying to understand and work with myself and the doctor with meds and such. Praying for understanding and a relief is constant but more attainable now. The ups and downs aren’t so bad if not only do you have God to carry you but your family too.

    Enter me in this drawing.

  12. Smilingsal … actually, it sounds pretty biblical to me … God giving you the desire of your heart! 🙂 Congrats on 50 wonderful years — what a testimony to you and to God! Thanks for stopping by.

Bev, as one of 13 from a very dysfunctional family rife with bi-polar, depression, suicide and more, I so emphasize with your struggle. I pray that God levels those mountains as He is so good at doing, and leads you to His level path of peace, hope and joy. Saying one for you RIGHT NOW!

    Hugs,
    Julie

  13. There have been so many things that, failing to solve them on my own, it has been a joy to see God move when I finally trusted Him.

One of the most recent examples concerns my daughter. About two years ago, she committed to lead a campus ministry being started in Germany this fall. Then last year she met a wonderful Christian young man and they are now engaged. They plan to marry next spring, and he will work in his field while she leads the campus ministry. Only one problem: the mission organization’s rules say that when a team member marries someone not on the team, they have to leave the team.

All I can say is that God is truly amazing, and has paved the way for her to lead the ministry and also be married.

I have seen so many great reviews of Julie’s book, and hope to read it soon. Thank you for the chance to win a copy.
