  1. Greetings! Sounds like a book that I could enjoy reading and then sharing it with my children and my niece and nephew! A heart warming story; especially during the holiday season, is always welcome. Many thanks…..Cindi

  2. We now have three grandchildren ages 8, 6 and almost 2. I’d love to read to them. I think a short book that would easily hold their attention for a little while is a great way to go since their ages vary so much. Perhaps the youngest couldn’t stick it out but will soon enough as the older ones can now read and love reading books too. I also share books with my husband at times and think this would fit just right after a meal anytime of the day.

  3. I’m one of those readers where the cover of a book draws me in and this one is so nice. I can imagine how good the storyline and characters will be and I’m usually right. Please enter me in your giveaway. Thanks!

  4. Thanks to everyone so far for stopping by. Cindi and Pam I think the kids would likely love this story.

Pam if you read a chapter or two at a time and spread hte reading out over a week or two I think you could probably hold the 2yr old’s attention as these “chapters” are around 5 pages or less each. There aren’t pictures in the book but if reading aloud is done well sometimes even the little ones who look for pictures will be drawn in to a read aloud without the visual stimulation of pictures.

Sandy the cover on this one is definitely a draw and yes a great cover can make or break a book. This one definitely lives up to its package IMO.

  5. Sounds very interesting, especially that it can be read to the whole family. I have three daughters and am learning just how hard this mom-to-girls thing is as my oldest is getting closer to her teen years by the minute. I’d love to be entered for this one!
