Honored, Amazed and Blessed!

The rules of the Butterfly award are:
1. Put the logo on your blog.
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you.
3. Nominate 10 other blogs (or fewer if you don’t have time to do 10).
4. Add links to those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message for your nominees on their blogs.

Now lets see if I can come up with 10 people to pass this on to. I would of course pass it right back to Michelle if I could but she already got one. So…

Deena at A Peek at My Bookshelf is a blogger who writes some wonderful reviews and so many books have landed on my list of to reads since I started reading her blog it is larger than my actual pile of books. She is also an encouragement and blessing as a friend through her support, prayers, and sometimes just the right thing said when it is most needed.

Margaret(MJ) at Creative Madness is another book blogger I have gotten to know through this foray over the last year into the world of review blogging. She also shares my taste for historical novels and it isn’t always easy to find another reader who not only knows a good historical when they find it but relishes those reads like the gourmet fare they are.

Deborah at Books, Movies, and Chinese Food is another of my reviewer buddies and we share a taste not only for books but for chinese food as well according to her blog title.

Jennifer at Quiverfull Family another of my reviewer friends and the one who launched the Christian Book Carnival you see linked in my right sidebar to collect links to Christian Book Reviews each week.

Jean at Disciplines of Culture who may have very different taste in books but she is a fellow chocolate connoisseur which makes up for just about anything we disagree on. I actually “met” Jean on Twitter and we also discovered our mutual affinity for Chocolate via tweets.

Delia at My Book Bag another author friend and book reviewer.

KT at Books 4 Teens who helps out her mom with a teenage girl’s perspective on some of the books reviewed at A Peek at My Bookshelf and reviews teen books when she has the time to read at her own blog too.

Grace Bridges an author friend I met through reviewing. Grace recently traveled from Germany to New Zealand the long way around which included several stops across the US to meet some of her online friends and fellow authors. Check out her videos on her blog from the past two months or so journaling her travels.

Kaza at The Memory Mogul (if you’re curious about that title well you’ll just have to read her blog and the Erec Rex series of books she writes to find out). Kaza is oneo f hte first authors that contacted me about reviewing her books – wow looking back that was over a year ago now but I loved the first two and eagerly await the 3rd coming summer of 2009.

Shar an author friend from Shoutlife who I an guessing will soon be joining my favorite historical authors list with her soon to release Hannah Grace which I am only a chapter into but believe it or not I usually know what I’m gonna love and what is gonna drive me bonkers within the first few chapters of a book and the fact I didn’t want to quit reading to do other things is a pretty solid sign in the first chapter.

  1. Thanks! It’s an honor! I love the comments. I am going to blog about my favorite chocolate here and have a contest to give it away. I have recently wanted to read more fiction but now I need suggestions. I was really wanting a math textbook this morning to have so I could do math problems. Go figure. I’m odd. It’s a good thing we have differing tastes. 🙂

  2. Hi, Darling Melissa,
I am on a very STRICT deadline right now, so I’m not sure I’ll be able to participate just now, but I do THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART for your extra kind words about “Hannah Grace”. Right now, I am entrenched in “Maggie Rose”, the second in the series. All I am doing lately is writing, writing, writing.

    Hugs and warm blessings…
    Shar
