Fear No Evil (#2) by Robin Caroll
B&H Books (August 1, 2010)
This Summer Robin releases the sequel to Deliver us From Evil. Both books sound interesting though not my usual reading. Thanks to B&H for a review copy.

In the Shadow Of the Cypress by Thomas Steinbeck
Pocket (April 6, 2010)
Just started reading this one. Premise is great, author writes well but I’m struggling with the format of presenting the story. The book is primarily journal entries from the narrator regarding a certain person and events that connected the narrator and this other party. While the idea of a single narrator seems a good idea in theory for flow and continuity or the narrative, the story moves very slowly and bogs down in excessive details and explanations. Keep in mind I’m only 1/3 of the way into the book and this is only my opinion. Thanks to Pocket for a review copy.

Necessary Heartbreaks (When Time Forgets #1) by Michael J Sullivan
Gallery (March 30, 2010)
This book sounds intriguing and I just discovered it starts out a trilogy so I’ll have two more books to look forward too when I’ve finished this one. Thanks to Gallery for a review copy.

A Promise Of Hope (Kauffman Amish Bakery #2) by Amy Clipston
Zondervan (March 23, 2010)
This was won from the publisher through their excerpt email offer. Zondervan Breakfast Club. Subscribers receive an email Mon-Fri with a link to an excerpt from that week’s book and by Fri’s email the links contain the entire first chapter of the book.
