#Armchair BEA 2016: Day 5: Bibliophile Banter – Wrap Up

Armchair BEA is the experience for book bloggers to participate in Book Expo America (BEA) from the comfort of their homes. This experience is created lovingly by book bloggers specifically for our peers who for whatever reason are not able to participate in the main conference in Chicago. We bring publishers, authors, and bloggers together in celebrating our love for all things literary by hosting celebrations such as sneak peeks, daily discussion topics, and sponsored giveaways.

Today Day 5 #ArmchairBEA Wrap Up
ArmchairBEA LogoExample But just the start of new beginnings, relationships, connections and blogging resources for the future. Also the start of another year of events to plan and look forward to.

I first joined up with #ArmchairBEA in 2014 I’d already been blogging about 7 years at that point but didn’t have a lot of connection within the wider book blogging community though I knew it existed. @destinyisntfree of Just Another Rabid Reader has been a close online connection of mine centered around books and blogging for the past several years and we are also business partners as Freelance Editors, Blog Tour Organizers and other services for Authors via @BWRTours found at Black, White and Read Author Services . I also have a few other Bloggers I’ve met through various groups that I connected with and kept in contact with. I don’t specifically remember anyone from 2014 I connected with through Events like #ArmchairBEA and 2015 was a year where I wasn’t able to join in on much for a variety of reasons. This year I connected with some Bloggers: one I remember seeing around at 2014 #ArmchairBEA events @SilversReviews from Silver’s Reviews and the others are new to me this year @natalie_patalie from Natalie Patalie, @booknonsense from A Kernel of Nonsense and @Girl_Who_Reads from Girl Who Reads.

My favorite topic was Day 4: Surviving Fictional Worlds

All the Twitter Chats were a ball and I loved writing about the different topics and meeting new Bloggers or reconnecting with some of you.
